Reyco Suspension, pictured is the Transpro 88 Front Hanger installed with EWP Poly Warepad and Hanger Side Plates. Hanger Side Plate Kit is pictured to the right. Warepads are available for front and rear hangers.
Reyco Suspension, Hanger Side Wear can be a problem for many fleets. There hasn’t been many options to protect the hanger for a Spring Suspension.
OEM Protective coatings try to help, but, when that spring is constantly scraping and pushing into the side of the spring hanger it gets worn and chipped. Once small blemishes start…they have a way of spreading and causing spring hanger corrosion.
And…before you know it, the side wall is rusted and busted out. Sound at all familiar?
Or, maybe you have noticed how the leaf spring over time forms a rut or groove in the Reyco Suspension, Spring Hanger. As the suspension twists and turns, the spring sticks in that rut or groove causing increased wear to the interior side wall of the hanger.
We have heard it over and over, “Can’t you do anything about hanger side wear?”

EWP Poly Warepads for the seat of the hanger reduces side wear by allowing the spring to move freely with its non-binding material.
EWP Poly Wearpads paired with our Poly Hanger Side Plates will provide total spring path protection.
The Side Plates have the same easy, quick installation that we have for the Warepads. They are sold as two separate products: Hanger Wear pads for the seat of the hanger and Hanger Side Plate Kits for the inside walls of the Hanger.
