Like every fleet owner, mechanic, mechanic supervisor and Director of Maintenance, Greg knew that hangers and equalizers wear out and leaf springs break – it’s a part of life with spring suspension trailers. He decided to change that. After experimenting with many materials and methods, Greg found a way to engineer a new age polymer in a manner that protects the spring suspension system. With the EWP Warepad’s installed after 5 years, his hangers and equalizers were still in service, and his spring breakage was greatly reduced! Even more exciting was the fact that the new product showed only minimal wear. Based on this incredible durability, Greg decided to name the product “The Ever-Durable Warepad”, and patented the design.
Now, after many years of road testing by major fleets, we’re proud to say with certainty – the Ever-Durable Warepad dramatically reduces wear on hangers and equalizers, and greatly reduces spring breakage. It protects the entire suspension system!

HISTORY
Greg Manchik, the inventor of the EWP, comes from two generations of trucking. He grew up washing trucks, changing tires, repairing all of the equipment, and eventually driving gravel trains. In 1980, he joined his father in their family business. In 1994, he took over the company and now owns 10 gravel trains. They haul gravel, sand and salt. Like all small business owners he is involved in every aspect of his business. He is constantly challenged by trying to keep operating costs down. Prior to 2003, Greg was becoming increasingly concerned with the maintenance costs of his trailer suspensions. He tried various ways to keep the suspensions from wearing out. Finally, he formulated a unique idea and developed a product with a material that does just that. And, on top of being the best solution for the application, it is easy to install.
GSM Innovative Products, Inc. was formed in 2004 and the Ever-Durable Warepad (EWP) was born!
